Julphar is an Emirati pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Middle East. Headquartered in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, the company employs more than 5,000 people and distributes its pharmaceutical products internationally. The company has three divisions — General Medicines, Julphar Diabetes Solutions and Julphar Life — with products having applications in Gastrology, Pain Management, Respiratory, Wounds and Scars, Gastrointestinal Tract, Gynecology, Men’s Health, Anemia, Anti-infectives, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Dietary Supplements and Vitamins. Julphar II, III and IV were launched in 1998, a biotechnology plant, Julphar VII, was launched in 2003 and Julphar VIII, IX and X were launched in 2007.
Julphar’s transportation and shipping division, MenaCool, was launched in 2008 to transport the company’s medicines across the MENA region. In 2011, Julphar crossed AED 1 billion in sales, an 11.3% growth from 2010. Julphar began producing biosimilars in 2012 and launched a new division, Julphar Diabetes Solutions, becoming the only company in the Middle East and North Africa to locally produce Recombinant DNA (r-DNA), the raw material used to make insulin. Julphar inaugurated its first facility on the African continent with the opening of Julphar Ethiopia in 2013. The launch of Julphar Bangladesh took place two years later in 2015, which coincided with the launch of Julphar Life, the company’s consumer division. In 2017, Julphar acquired IV fluid company, Gulf Inject and officially opened a facility in Saudi Arabia in collaboration with its local partner, Cigalah Group. In 2018, Julphar signed an agreement with the Ministry of Health (United Arab Emirates) to ensure the availability of critical medical supplies during crisis situations. Julphar won the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals award in 2018 along with its partner, Merck & Co., becoming the first pharmaceutical company from the Middle East and Africa to win such an award. The company also won the Frost & Sullivan 2018 Best Emerging GCC Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company of the Year award.

Manager – Sales Force Effectiveness
The Sales Force Effectiveness Manager will be responsible for the overall implementation of all Operational Excellence programs and projects relevant to Sales Force Effectiveness, Sales Force Training and Compliance. He will also drive the organizational and operational changes needed by Julphar. The role will develop sales force effectiveness plans to drive sales growth and sales force productivity for Julphar, provide regular sales analysis reports and monitor key performance measures to provide insights for continuous sales effectiveness and efficiency. Qualifications:
Education
• 4 years Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Science.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration is mandatory
Experience
• Having 10-12+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry & in that at least 6+ years should be as a Sales Force Effectiveness Manager role in in MEA & other geographies
• Understanding of marketing planning, brand marketing and budgeting processes as well as of marketing information needs and key business drivers
• Understanding of sales force structures, processes and resource allocation
• IT literate, highly developed Analytics, Dashboards, Excel and presentation skills
• Functional knowledge of the clinical aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, KOLs, HCPs, Supply chain, dispensing requirements and drug distribution channels
• Experience working with matrixed, geographically distributed and functionally diverse work groups is preferred.
• Proven experience in an analytical and strategic commercial environment, including financial analysis
• In-depth knowledge of the international & local pharmaceutical industry business processes and ability to analyze complex business issues
• Detailed understanding of the healthcare system and its different customer groups.
Sr. Specialist
The role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and maintain them in effective manner. Responsible for Qualification/Validation of Facilities, Utilities, Processes, Cleaning, Equipment’s documentation and implementation of Master Plan.

4 years Bachelor Degree in Science / Pharmacy
Experience
At least 6-8 years’ experience in in pharmaceutical industry preferably in Onsite Inspection. Fluent in English & Arabic (communicating, writing and speaking). Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, etc.)
Specialist– Technology Transfer
Adhere to the cGMP principles and maintain them in an effective manner. Ensuring hundred percent in compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsible for smooth Technology Transfer to and from Julphar sites and for successful commercialization of the product to the Plants. Transfer developed processes to the Manufacturing Team. Writing and approving technology transfer document including protocols, reports, check lists and master batch records. Maintaining awareness of relevant new and current technologies, capabilities, and effectively share this knowledge with teams.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree either in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical engineering, or any related scientific field Master’s degree in pharmacy is an advantage
Experience:
• At least 4-8 years of experience in Technology Transfer/Product Development/Research and Development in a Pharmaceutical field.

Specialist – the role holder is responsible to adhere with cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner.Responsible for the implementation of all Julphar’s procedures, and policies and assists the production department in complying with all regulations to increase effectiveness. Responsible to ensure and monitor the smooth running daily activities of the production department. Must assess current procedures, track production data, manage schedules, maintain important documents, databases, prepare reports, analyze performance, and communicate relevant information to the department.

RA Specialist 1
Job Summary/ Main Purpose Specialist 1 – the role holder is responsible to ensure high quality data and standards are used in support of all regulatory applications, providing support to project teams as required. In this role your duties include interfacing with regulatory agencies proactively to respond rapidly and drive license approvals as well as with multiple cross functional stakeholders and project teams in order to proactively plan, coordinate and procure specialty documentation and samples required to support regulatory submissions. Also, responsible for providing input, project related metrics, monthly highlights, troubleshooting documents and sample fulfillment issues and contributing to process and system enhancements.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in similar role in the Pharmaceuticals industry, especially with SFDA.
Production Technician – Aseptic Filling
Technician – the role holder is responsible to adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner. Follow instructions, work with other department, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed. Responsible to provide support for the production activities autoclave operation, garments washing and autoclave load preparations, Dispensing and Formulation, Aseptic Filling, Pen Assembly, Cartridge Washing and Depyrogenation activities in any of Julphar production facility, Pen/ Cartridge filling line for its routine manufacturing functions as per the cGMP norms. Responsible for the Production activities in the respective suits of Recombinant Human Insulin plant and Small Scale Insulin Plant operations including but not limited to Operating equipment, running the production process, CIP and SIP of process equipment.
Qualifications:
Education
Higher Secondary certificate/Diploma in similar field.
Experience:
At least 2 – 4 years’ experience in the same filed.

RA Specialist 2
Specialist 2 – the role holder is responsible to ensure to provide strategies for the regulatory projects, resources, costs, time and clients. Accountable for the preparation of requirements of products to be registered and submitted to the Ministry of Health. Responsible for all regulatory activities including dossier assessment, Gap analysis of regulatory Technical work with Health Authorities or/and Food and Drug Administration. Calumniation with agent & distributers in countries to follow and update registration (renewal and variation status). As well as prepare variation planning as the approved CCF and distributed along with the team.

Manager – Production
The Production Manager will adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner as well as control and supervise overall Production department. The role holder must monitor the ongoing Production material quality, analysis of the performance of the Production line in the shop floor. Understand the new specifications for the product and accordingly do the necessary tasks for the department Responsible for replication of various projects and procedures across units. Must coordinate with all other departments for efficient running of Production department and control overall manpower & machine productivity. Is responsible to ensure achievement of monthly production plan, write, implement and check compliance of SOP’s.
Qualifications:
Education Bachelor of Pharmacy / Engineering and Masters/ MBA in Operation
Experience:
Minimum 10-12 years of Production Experience in similar organization in pharma / Health care / Medical Industry Previous experience in a similar role and with experience in a Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare Industry is preferred Project management skills to manage the process of providing excellent operational service (efficient, effective and qualitative), turnaround, and continuous improvement (LEAN, Value chain, QRM, Pareato, Fish bone, 5 Why’s etc.). Knowledge in strategic and business planning will be an advantage Must be experienced in managing complex and sensitive operational challenges. Knowledgeable with SOP writing, MFM and GMP compliance.
