Consultant- Endocrinology- Dubai Diabetes Center – (22001734)
Job Description
Ensure the highest quality of service to the patients under his/her care within the resources provided by the program. As a Consultant Physician, diagnoses and treats patients with diabetes of all types with special emphasis on current techniques for management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Also recognizes and treats complications of diabetes. Oversees day to day clinical activity at the Dubai Diabetes Center for his/her assigned patients. Expertise in the use of technology such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring sensors etc. Works in a collegial fashion with primary care physicians, diabetes educators including nurses and dieticians. Interacts with Administration to set up policy. Functions as a member of the medical staff of the center. Oversees the performance of other clinical care providers as directed by the center Director. Interacts with the Administrative Affairs Section in a constructive fashion. Interacts with Director to facilitate implementation of all the Center’s programs in a clinical setting Refers patients when additional expertise is needed.
