Mediclinic Middle East operates seven hospitals in the UAE with over 950+ inpatient beds, including the newly-opened Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, as well as more than 24 clinics in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.

In 1983, Dr Edwin Hertzog, who remains Mediclinic International’s chairman, was commissioned by the then Rembrandt Group (now Remgro Group) to undertake a feasibility study on private hospitals. This led to the founding of Mediclinic in South Africa.

Over the past 35 years the company has grown significantly, both organically and through acquisition, to become one of the world’s largest international private healthcare groups.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Mediclinic’s Sports Medicine & Rehab Centre in Dubai, located in Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, and is a first of its kind integrated facility for the treatment of sports injuries, sports performance, musculoskeletal complaints, and a full range of rehabilitation therapy. We are looking for an experienced Consultant in Sports Medicine to provide patient-centric and evidence based consultant-level care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by the company and regulatory authorities.

Our team of world class sports doctors and physiotherapists are complemented by state of the art technology such as our bespoke bio circuit programme, gait analysis lab, force plates, recovery lab, force plate analysis and functional screening.
